Prepare a piece of origami sheet. Vertically fold in half to make a rectangle.

Unfold.

Vally-fold the right edge to center. Vally-fold the left edge to center.

Fold in half to bring the bottom edge to meet the top edge.

Unfold. Vally-fold the bottom edge to center.

Vally-fold the top edge to center. Unfold.

Hold the origami, but open the right-top layer, just like what we did in boats origami.

Open the left-top layer as well.

Flatten. If you like a single-story house, mountain-fold the bottom edge to meet the center line.
