Prepare a sheet of origami paper. Fold origami in half

to make a triangle. Unfold.

Vally-fold the bottom to meet the center line. Vally-fold the top to meet the center line.

Vally-fold the left corner to make a triangle shown below.

Vally-fold the top left corner to the center.

Vally-fold the bottom left corner to the center. We are going to open the top flap..

Open the top flap, and

flatten. Open the bottom flap, and

Flatten. We are going to valley-fold the 1st layer top right corner to make

bird’s leg. Vally-fold the 1st layer bottom right corner as well to make another leg.

Vally-fold the right corner and bring to the point 1/3 distance from the left edge.

Vally-fold the same layer to right hand direction as shown.

Fold in half. Rotate 180 degree. (And if you flip origami over, it should look like the picture below)

Open out the left-hand side layer, and squash the point down to make bird’s beak.
